Privacy Policy

Michael Interiors is the trading name of Mykhailo Guslavsky, a self-employed sole trader based in Warrington, Cheshire, England. I am the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

This website has no contact form and doesn’t ask you to enter any personal details. When you call, WhatsApp or email me, I receive whatever you choose to share, for example:

• your name, phone number and/or email address;
• details and photos of the job;
• your address or area, if you’d like me to visit or check that I cover it.

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote — because you have asked me to, before any agreement (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract).
• To arrange and carry out work you book — to perform our agreement.
• To keep business and tax records — where the law requires me to.
• To keep the website working and secure — my legitimate interest in running the business safely.
• To show the optional Google Map — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

I don’t sell your information, and I don’t use it for marketing mailing lists.

• Google (Gmail) hosts my email inbox, so emails you send me are stored there. Google privacy policy
• WhatsApp is used only if you choose to message me there. WhatsApp privacy policy
• Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site. Cloudflare privacy policy
• Google Maps shows the area I cover on the Contact page, but only if you have allowed it (see Cookies below). When it loads, Google receives technical data such as your IP address. Google privacy policy
• Facebook and TikTok — the website only links to my pages there; nothing from these platforms loads on this site. If you follow a link, their own privacy policies apply.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Each provider’s privacy policy, linked above, explains where it processes data and the safeguards it uses.

I keep enquiries only for as long as I need them to deal with your request and any work that follows. Where you become a customer, I keep the records the law requires for tax and accounting purposes, and no longer than necessary. You can ask me to delete your enquiry at any time.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information I hold about you;
• ask me to correct it, or to delete it;
• ask me to limit how I use it, or object to how I use it;
• ask for it in a portable format, where that applies.

To make a request, contact me using the details above. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts, photos and videos are served from this website itself, and videos only download when you press play.

Necessary storage. When you make a choice in the cookie banner, the website saves that choice in your browser’s local storage (under the name “mi-cookie-consent”), so it doesn’t ask you again on every page. It stores only your choice and the date you made it, and it isn’t sent to me or anyone else.

Optional: Google Maps. The interactive map on the Contact page is provided by Google. Nothing is loaded from Google until you allow it, either with “Accept All” in the cookie banner, in Cookie Settings, or with the “Allow Google Maps” button on the map itself. Once the map loads, Google may set its own cookies. If you choose “Reject Optional”, the map is not loaded and you’ll see a plain placeholder instead.

Changing your mind. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with Cookie Settings (also linked at the bottom of every page). Withdrawing stops the map loading on future visits; to remove cookies Google has already set, clear them in your browser settings.
